The Brockville Yacht Club offers a full suite of sailing programs. These programs are based upon curriculum set by Sail Canada and are internationally recognized as one of the best learn-to-sail program worldwide. To ensure top-quality expertise and excellent safety, all Brockville Yacht Club instructors are trained and certified by Sail Canada and are equipped with formal sailing and water safety credentials.
We provide a safe and fun learning environment for young sailors and:
Teach young people safe boat handling, seamanship, and sportsmanship.
Help young people learn to sail.
Promote youth sailing competition.

The CanSail Program
Wet feet - Junior fun Introduction to for those who are ready to get started but not quite old enough for our CanSail 1 & 2.
CANSail 1 & 2 - Fundamental skill acquisition in any type of boat (single / double handed).
CANSail 3 & 4 - Applied skill acquisition in any type of boat (single / double handed).
CANSail 5 & 6 - Applied skill consolidation in any type of boat (single / double handed). – This Level is also part of our Race Team.
